Adroit College co-hosted a book signing event with the Korean American Professional Women's Association (KAPWA) to promote Adroit College President, Dr. Eun Hee Koo's new book "Buy Korean." Many Adroit College students and members of the community attended to support Dr. Koo and her new book. The formal program included readings (in Korean) from "Buy Korean" and congratulatory songs and dedications.

Adroit College hosted its annual Seol Nal (Korean New Year) event on Saturday, February 17th at 5:00pm. The Seol Nal celebration was an opportunity for students and members of the community to learn about Korean traditions on New Year's day. Ttuk Kuk (rice cake soup), a traditional New Year's dish, while attendees dressed in Hanbok and were taught how to do to do Saebe, the traditional Korean New Year's bow. Attendees also participated in playing Yutnori, a traditional Korean 4 stick game, which is often played with family and friends on New Year's day.

Please Buy Korean Language: A live story from Korean language classroom in U.S.A. was recently published in Korea (written in Korean). This book, written by Adroit College President Dr. Eun Hee Koo, is a compilation of stories depicting the experiences and feelings of a Korean language teacher in U.S. Filled with touching essays and photos, this book is an inspiration to aspiring Korean Language teachers.
Graduation Party - December 2006
Submitted by admin on Thu, 2006-12-14 06:01.Students gathered at the new Adroit College Campus in Palo Alto on Saturday, December 2nd to share presenatations they've prepared based on the lessons they learned in the Fall Quarter. Students shared in Korean food and received certificates of completion.


Chuseok Party
Submitted by admin on Wed, 2006-10-04 21:14.Students, family and friends were invited to celebrate Chuseok, the Korean Thanksgiving at Adroit College. The celebration consisted of a feast of Korean food, making Sompyeon, traditional Korean rice cakes, and playing yutnori, a traditional Korean game. Students got to immerse themselves into Korean culture as they were also invited to wear Hanbok, traditional Korean attire.
